Registrations for the Castellón Gravel Race 2024 are now open

The gravel cycling event, which is included in the Spanish Cup of the discipline and has international category, will be held on May 11 in the town of Llucena (Castellón). The quota is 500 registrations, with a price starting at €30 (federated).

It is now open Registration for the Castellón Gravel Race, the gravel cycling race that will bring together 500 riders in Llucena to tackle the 97 kilometres with more than 2,500 metres of accumulated gradient. The best cyclists, both national and international, will meet in the third race that counts towards the Spanish Gravel Cup, and which is included in the UCI calendar. The ambassador of the race will be the Olympic champion Samuel Sánchez, who will take part in the men's round of the competition.

Regarding registration, several prices have been established according to the date on which it is formalized, via the RFEC website:

– From February 28 to March 12: 30 euros (members) / 50 euros (non-members).
– From March 13 to April 9: 35 euros (members) / 55 euros (non-members).
– From April 10 to May 7: 40 euros (members) / 60 euros (non-members).

The wonderful landscapes of the province of Castellón, the second most mountainous in Spain, will allow you to enjoy spectacular surroundings, demanding sections and areas for the enjoyment of the participants. The race starts and finishes in Llucena, a town located in the Alcalatén region, in the interior of Castellón, and which has a population of 1,300 inhabitants.

On Saturday 11th May, starting at 9am, the different races (men's, women's, junior and cycle-tourist) will start from Plaza de España in Llucena and will begin to arrive at the finish line from approximately 12:30pm. Race numbers can be collected from Friday at 7pm and on the day of the race from 7am at Llucena Town Hall.

All attendees will be able to enjoy the Fan Zone The Castellón Gravel Race will be set up in Plaza de España in Llucena on Friday and Saturday. The Castellón Gravel Race will have 5 intermediate control points that will also have mechanical assistance (three of them) and refreshments, so that support is guaranteed for the participating cyclists.
