WHAT TO SEE
Llucena, known as the Pearl of the Mountain, is located in a unique enclave and an enviable setting among the mountains in the interior of the province of Castellón. During a walk through the historic centre of the town, we recommend a visit to the Archpriestal Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción and the Town Hall in the beautiful Plaza de España with its medieval porches, the municipal laundries, the Castle-Palace of the Dukes of Híjar, the Granero del Pòsit or the Terraza Polos, as well as having numerous viewpoints in the municipality.
The municipality in the region of l'Alcalatén is surrounded by different assets of cultural interest throughout its municipal area. Notable among them are the Torre de l'Oró, the Hermitage of Sant Vicent Ferrer or the Hermitage of Sant Antoni, just a few metres from the town centre; and the Castle-Hermitage of Sant Miquel de les Torrocelles or the Torre Ibérica de Foios, where the Castellón Gravel Race route runs.
